Evergood AHP are currently supporting our client based in Norfolk in recruiting for an experienced Physiotherapist.
We are looking for an experienced Learning Disability Physiotherapist to join the South Norfolk Community Learning Disabilities Team, to support the physio Structure and the implementation of the Health agenda.
You will be an autonomous qualified physiotherapist providing assessment, treatment planning and provision for adults with learning disabilities who have a range of complex physical and psychological needs. You will be a member of the integrated multidisciplinary learning disability team in South Norfolk, working alongside another physiotherapist and Technical Instructor and supervised by the clinical lead. We work closely with our social care colleagues, in the same office.
You will be expected to work in isolation in a variety of settings in the community. You will gain basic managerial experience in delegating tasks where appropriate to the Physiotherapy Technical Instructor in the team. You will be HCPC registered and hold full and valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
We have a varied caseload including postural management, rebound therapy, water based activity, general mobility, falls and exercise and activity interventions.
The South Norfolk Community Learning Disabilities Team are a group of highly motivated health and social care professionals who are committed to supporting people with learning disabilities living in the community. We include social workers, assistant practitioners, specialist nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, consultant psychiatry, speech and language therapy, psychology and Integrated business support.
