Experience in making decision and understanding threshold.
Understands the need to write clear analysis using information given.
Good understanding of Child protection
Participate in MASH meetings/enquiries.
Understanding of Risk assessment
Sound decision making
Confidence to escalate evidence of ineffective safeguarding within and outside of MASH.
Building and maintain relationships with a range of partners internal and external to MASH.
Ability to interpret information and search data bases/ICS for information regarding children and for safeguarding purposes.
Providing advice to professionals and service users.
Understanding the need and importance to gain the child’s voice and record this within the relevant documentation.
Specifications
- Recent experience in a similar role
- Qualified Social Worker and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- 3+ years PQE
