Bedford Borough Council are looking for a Social Worker to join their Family Support Team which has a high level of court cases and also Care Proceedings. based at Borough Hall. To receive and co-ordinate referrals, undertake assessments/formulate care plans, arrange action and review services for children and families.
Specifications
Manage Child Protection cases
- Manage Child in Need cases
- Undertaken Court work
- Write statements and other assessments
- Ensuring that Child Protection Plans as correctly run
Experience of child protection and court work is essential
Experience in managing complex caseloads
Minimum 2 years PQE
MUST be a car driver
HCPC registration
MUST have Qualified Social Worker Qualification (Dip, BA, MA etc.)
