Evergood AHP are currently supporting our client based in Berekshire in recruiting for an experienced Radiology – CT Scanning.
Require an established Radiographer with at least two years’ experience in CT. They should be professional adhering to the Society of Radiographers codes of conduct and be highly motivated and dynamic. Their experience to date should cover a high standard of cross sectional CT imaging encompassing all aspects of CT from contrast body imaging including angiography techniques, MSK, interventional and trauma imaging. Preferable but not essential to have experience in more advanced techniques such as Cardiac CT and Virtual Colonography.
The Radiographer will be based where they currently have a GE LightSpeed VCT 64 slice and a Discovery 750HD 64 slice scanner. Experience with GE equipment is preferred but not essential. Ideally they should hold a Society of Radiographers accredited IV cannulation course so they will be better able to cannulate and perform all aspects of patient workflow.
The Radiographer should be able to communication effectively with clinical, managerial, administrative and ancillary staff to ensure a timely and efficient service. They should have sound knowledge and understanding IR(ME)R and the importance of adhering to it. They should be able to operate appropriately as part of the CT team and the wider multi-disciplinary environment, but also be able to work autonomously. Good organization is essential and they must be able to priorities effectively on a clinical basis.
