Qualified Social Worker and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Experience and/or understanding of: Assessment/Safeguarding/CLA/TYS/Families First/Academy
Hertfordshire are looking for a strong Qualified Social Worker (SP Level) to join their Out of Hours Service based at the Police Headquarters in Welwyn Garden City.The out of hours service work on a 7 day rota with example shifts below:Monday - Friday: 5pm-11pm OR 8pm-9am (working from home)Weekends: 8am-8pm (home and office based) CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO THESE WORKING HOURS/DAYS. The out of hours team is a small team of only 6 workers. Therefore the candidate for this role needs to be a strong team player with drive to be self motivated. Weekend working will be alternated between the office and working from home on a rotational basis. The workload is varied within the out of hours service, it can be quiet and also it can be extremely busy. The expectations of the role is to be receiving and processing referrals from the general public and/or professionals as well as general queries from existing services users, public and/or professionals and much more! Police vetting will be required for this role, please ensure your candidates are aware as any details contained on a DBS will impact this being approved.
